Heavy-Duty Inspection & Maintenance - H-D I/M Compliance
The California Air Resources Board – CARB New Regulation for Heavy-Duty truck smog check, adopted in August 22, 2022, will be effective and mandatory from January 2024,
Heavy-duty vehicles (non-gasoline) operating in California with gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) greater than 14,000 pounds, with engines more than 4 years and older, are subject to program. This includes, in-state and out-of-state/country vehicles.
